Welcome to our domain name registration and hosting service. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, domain registration services, and hosting services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms in their entirety.
1. Definitions
- “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Doory Web Solutions, LLC.
- “You” and “your” refer to the individual or entity using our services.
- “Services” refers to domain registrations, hosting, and related services provided by us.
- “TLD” means Top-Level Domain (such as .com, .net, .org).
2. Account Responsibilities
2.1 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
2.2 Accurate Information
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for our services and keep this information updated.
3. Domain Registration Services
3.1 Refund Policy
Most TLDs have a 3-day refund policy. After this period, domain registrations are non-refundable.
3.2 Domain Privacy
All domains automatically include privacy protection as long as the TLD allows it. If you want to remove privacy for any reason, please send a support request.
3.3 Domain Locking
All domains are automatically locked to help prevent unauthorized transfer. You can disable this feature in your account settings per domain.
3.4 Domain Transfers
Domain transfers can take up to 7 days to complete, though registrars often process them more quickly. You are responsible for ensuring all requirements for transfer are met.
3.5 Auto-Renewal
Domains are automatically set to auto-renew to help prevent accidental expiration. You can disable auto-renewal in your account settings.
3.6 Redemption Period
Domains typically have a 30-day redemption period after expiration during which you can still renew them. Higher fees may apply during this period, depending on the specific TLD.
3.7 DNS Management
You have full control over your DNS settings through your account. While we provide this flexibility, you are responsible for any issues arising from incorrect DNS configuration. Support for DNS troubleshooting is available but not covered under our uptime guarantee.
4. Hosting Services
4.1 Acceptable Use
4.1.1 Content Restrictions
We do not restrict the content you host except that it must:
- Comply with all applicable United States laws
- Not contain copyright material you do not own
- Not promote or facilitate self-harm
- Not violate any other provision of these Terms
4.1.2 Media Streaming
Streaming audio or video is not recommended on standard hosting accounts as it can degrade performance for all users. We recommend using dedicated streaming services like YouTube or Vimeo for media content. Our support team can assist with this transition if needed.
4.1.3 Disk Space Usage
Hosting accounts with unlimited disk space must use storage for files directly related to website display and functionality. Your hosting account should not be used as a general file storage service.
4.2 Service Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to take down a website if it:
- Violates any United States laws
- Receives credible complaints about abuse or prohibited content
- Violates these Terms
In most cases, we will warn you before taking action, depending on the severity of the issue.
5. Service Level and Support
5.1 Uptime Guarantee
We have a 99.9% uptime guarantee where we provide hosting services that are only down 0.1% of the year. This equates to roughly 7 hours a year we reserve to maintain our hardware and patch our servers. Planned downtime will be performed typically around 2am PST time and notifications will be provided via email ahead of time.
Unplanned downtime due to hardware failure has thankfully never happened yet in the 18+ years we have been hosting websites. But if this does happen, we promise to get the service back up and running as soon as possible. Any outages over the 0.1% of the year will be automatically credited to your account.
Downtimes relating to any issues in your website code or modifications you have made to your DNS settings do not apply to the Uptime Guarantee.
5.2 Technical Support
We provide technical support for issues related to our services. Support is available through our ticketing system. If your service offers priority phone support, you will get that information in the welcome email when you order your product.
6. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes when possible.
7. Payments and Billing
7.1 Fees
You agree to pay all fees associated with the Services. Fees are non-refundable except as specifically provided in these Terms.
7.2 Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified on our website.
8. Term and Termination
8.1 Term
These Terms will remain in effect until terminated by either party.
8.2 Termination by You
You may terminate these Terms by canceling your account and discontinuing use of the Services.
8.3 Termination by Us
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on our website.
