Strategy & discovery
Business goals, customer needs, current systems, content inventory, constraints, and measures of success.
Doory designs, builds, and deploys your website while handling monitoring, maintenance and updates.
Strategy, design, development, launch, and ongoing care are handled as one connected service.
Business goals, customer needs, current systems, content inventory, constraints, and measures of success.
Navigation, page purpose, calls to action, migration inventory, and an understandable content hierarchy.
Typography, color, imagery, layout, and interaction tailored within a maintainable component system.
Built to load quickly on a normal phone on a normal connection, which is where most people will actually see it.
Accessible lead capture, validation, abuse controls, transactional delivery, analytics, and scoped workflows.
Metadata, semantic headings, structured content, redirects, sitemap, keyboard behavior, contrast, and form labels.
Domain connection, SSL, DNS coordination, URL mapping, analytics preservation, and controlled cutover.
Monitoring, backups, dependency and security maintenance, scoped content updates, reporting, and guidance.
Choose a standard website plan, begin discovery for commerce or custom requirements, or quickly identify work outside Doory’s scope.
Presence, Growth, and Commerce suit focused, public-facing business sites.
For sites doing real commercial work, where the requirements need scoping before a price means anything.
Doory’s website service is not open-ended software or infrastructure development.
Inventory the existing site, URLs, content, accounts, audiences, desired outcomes, integrations, and risks.
Agree on pages, navigation, messages, calls to action, content responsibilities, and the technical approach.
Establish a visual system and representative page direction, then apply it consistently across the site.
Develop responsive components, content, forms, metadata, analytics, redirects, and domain connections.
Test accessibility, browsers, links, forms, performance, metadata, redirects, recovery, and production configuration.
Begin monitoring, maintenance, reports, content requests, and business-hours support under the plan scope.
If you use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 — or you should be, and are still running the business from a personal address — that setup is part of the work.
Getting mail to arrive reliably takes more than creating an account. The records that prove your mail is really from you have to be right, or it lands in spam. Two-factor sign-in has to be on before someone guesses a password, not after. Mailboxes, aliases, and forwarding have to match how the business actually works. That is the job, and it is included rather than sold as an add-on.
Licence fees are billed by the provider, at their price. Doory does not resell them or mark them up, and your email account stays in your name like everything else.
Monthly service covers the systems and working time in the plan. It does not silently expand to every device, vendor, redesign, or application request.
Monitoring, maintenance, agreed content work, form and deployment support, and the connected services listed in the proposal.
Major redesigns, new sections beyond plan limits, complex integrations, migrations, application features, and work beyond included time.
Designing and building the site before it launches — work that happens once. It is quoted at a fixed price after we have talked about what the site needs, and there is no annual commitment attached to it.
A one-time fee to build it, then a flat monthly fee to look after it. The build fee depends on how much site there is; the monthly fee does not move.

For work that does not fit a plan. Priced against what it actually is.
Memberships, connected systems, unusual publishing workflows, or a store with real complexity behind it. Custom is priced against what the work actually is, after a conversation about it.

| Plan | Build & launch | Monthly | Content changes | Response | Reporting | Domain credit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Presence | from $1,500 | $39/month | Hourly, or prepaid blocks | 2 business days | Quarterly, automated | — |
| Growth | from $3,500 | $99/month | Unlimited queue, one at a time | 1 business day | Monthly | $20/yr |
| Commerce | from $6,000 | $299/month | Unlimited queue, one at a time | 4 business hours | Monthly, with notes on what converted | $20/yr |
| Custom | Quoted | $500+ | Dedicated hours each month | Same day, with an escalation path | Built around what you need to know | Included |
The build fee is a one-time cost, paid before launch. It varies with how much site there is to build, which is why it starts at a number rather than being one.
The monthly fee covers looking after the site once it is live — the hosting, the domain, the monitoring, the updates, and having someone to ask.
Anything outside the plan — a second site, a rebuild, a migration from somewhere complicated — is quoted separately before it starts.
Monitoring checks are not uptime guarantees beyond the stated service-level agreement. Backups protect the materials named in the plan. Accessibility and SEO foundations improve quality but do not certify every future edit or guarantee search placement.
Doory documents the actual systems, frequency, working time, and exclusions rather than using an open-ended label.
Yes, Doory creates completely custom websites for each project unless the client asks to use or supplies a template.
On Growth and above you send as many change requests as you like and they get worked through one at a time, in your order. Most owners find that easier than learning an editor they use twice a year. If you would rather do it yourself, say so and we will set that up.
Presence gets a quarterly automated report. Growth gets a monthly one covering how the site is performing and what was done. Commerce adds notes on what actually turned into enquiries or orders rather than just traffic. Custom reporting is built around what you need to know.
A store fits within Commerce, scoped and priced after we talk. Carts, product catalogues, checkout, payments, taxes, shipping, inventory, and subscriptions vary enough between businesses that quoting them sight unseen would be guesswork.
They pay for different things. The build fee covers designing and building the site — work that happens once, before launch. The monthly fee covers keeping it working afterwards, which never stops. Splitting them keeps the ongoing cost low and predictable.
Because a five-page site for a hairdresser and a thirty-page site for a clinic are not the same job. The starting figure is a real floor, not bait — once we have talked about what the site needs, you get a fixed price before anything begins.
One thing you would describe in one sentence. Changing your opening hours is one item. Adding a new services page is one item. "Redo the whole site" is not an item — that is a project, and it gets quoted separately before it starts.
From Growth up, no. There is no monthly allowance to run out of and nothing expires. What you cannot have is five things being done at once, because one person is doing them — they queue and get worked through in your order.
Doory aims for 99.9% availability across every plan, measured by external monitoring. Scheduled maintenance and failures in services outside our control are excluded. The exact definitions, exclusions, and any remedy are stated in the service agreement.
How long until a person replies: two business days on Presence, one business day on Growth, four business hours on Commerce, and same day with an escalation path on Custom. That is response, not always time to complete the work — simple fixes are usually done in the same reply.
You take everything. The domain is already registered in your name, the accounts are yours, and I will help you move to whoever is next. There is no exit fee and nothing is held hostage.
The website, the domain and the settings behind it, your business email, the monitoring that tells me when something breaks, the backups, and the security updates. If it is part of your business being findable and reachable online, it is in scope — and if it is not, I will say so rather than quietly taking it on.
No. That is the point. You describe what you need in your own words and it gets done. You never have to work out which system a problem lives in or what any of it is called.
Often, yes. If what you have is decent and just unmaintained, taking it over as it is can be the right answer. See the page on switching for how that works and what gets checked first.
No. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 licences are billed by the provider at their price. Doory sets them up and looks after them, but does not resell them or mark them up.
Yes. Monthly service can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice, and no plan carries an annual commitment. The build fee is a separate one-time charge paid before launch.
