Straight answers about scope, ownership, and managed service.
Doory avoids broad promises. These answers explain where responsibility begins and where it ends.
Managed websites
What does Doory manage?
Depending on plan: strategy, content architecture, brand treatment, development, deployment, domain connection, SSL, forms, monitoring, backups, security maintenance, SEO and accessibility foundations, analytics, content updates, and business-hours support.
Will I have to learn hosting infrastructure?
No. Doory explains relevant decisions and account ownership, but the service does not expect customers to operate servers or interpret resource quotas.
Can Doory take over an existing site?
It begins with an assessment. Existing architecture, ownership, content, URLs, forms, analytics, email dependencies, and migration risk determine whether Doory can manage it directly or should rebuild it.
Domains and email
Where do I buy a domain?
Search on doory.net using the embedded availability checker. After selecting a result, continue registration or transfer at my.doory.net. The client portal remains the system of record for availability, pricing, billing, renewals, and account management.
Can a missing RDAP result prove availability?
No. Registration-data lookup and purchasing authority are separate. A registry may reserve or restrict a name even when no public record is returned.
Are Google Workspace licenses part of the Doory fee?
No. Workspace licenses are separate unless a signed proposal explicitly configures another arrangement.
Pricing and support
Does included support mean open-ended work?
No. Plans contain a defined amount of working time and specific responsibilities. Major projects and work beyond that allowance are quoted separately.
Does Doory provide after-hours support?
No after-hours or emergency coverage is claimed until the owner publishes a verified policy. Standard support is delivered during published business hours.
Can I cancel at any time?
The one-time build and launch option does not require an annual service commitment. Choosing the $0 build and launch option creates a 12-month service commitment. The signed agreement controls notice, cancellation, handoff, and account status.
Ownership and technology
Who owns the domain and content?
Customers should retain ownership of their domain, business data, and core accounts. Provider terms, payment status, licenses, and the signed agreement still govern access and handoff.
Does Doory dislike WordPress?
No. WordPress can be appropriate when its editing and application features justify the maintenance. Doory explains the obligations of unmanaged, plugin-heavy sites without attacking the platform.
Why static-first?
Preparing ordinary pages ahead of requests can improve maintainability and reduce the public application surface. It is used when suitable, not as a rule for complex dynamic products.
Have a situation that does not fit a general answer?
Share the website, domain, email platform, team size, and desired outcome. Doory will respond within the verified business process once published.
